Ensuring E85 Success

Photo of E85 sign at fueling station.

Proper labeling of the E85 dispenser as well as nozzle covers, pump toppers, price signage, and point-of-sale information are critical to successful E85 operations.

Installing an E85 (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline) fueling system properly does not necessarily ensure success. Success is also based on educating staff on the merits of E85, getting drivers to use the fuel, and continuing to keep E85 vehicles operational. Choose from the links below for information about training and technical assistance, successful fleets that use onsite and offsite E85 infrastructure, lessons learned, and the importance of collaboration.
