There is much to consider when building biodiesel fueling infrastructure. This page provides resources to help you start. Also visit the Fleets section for information on how to build your alternative fuel vehicle fleet.

Biodiesel Handling and Use

Fleets that use biodiesel must understand biodiesel fuel specifications and the proper ways to handle and store the fuel. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory produced a comprehensive publication providing guidelines for handling and storing biodiesel: Biodiesel Handling and Use Guidelines (PDF 2 MB). Following is a summary of key handling and use guidelines.
