
North Dakota Incentives and Laws

The North Dakota legislature meets in odd-numbered years beginning in early January for up to 80 days. During the session, the governor must sign or veto legislation within three days after transmittal (except Saturdays and Sundays) or the legislation becomes law without signature. If the legislature is not in session, the governor must act within 15 days after transmission (except Saturdays and Sundays) or the legislation becomes law without signature.
