Abstract | The Transportation Energy Data Book: Edition 28 is a statistical compendium of tables and graphs designed for desk-top reference of transportation energy use. Chapter 1 covers petroleum; Chapter 2 covers energy; Chapter 3 covers highway vehicles; Chapter 4 covers light-duty vehicles; Chapter 5 covers heavy-duty vehicles; Chapter 6 describes alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technology; Chapter 7 covers fleet vehicles; Chapter 8 describes household vehicle use; Chapter 9 describes nonhighway transportation including airplanes, ships and railroads; Chapter 10 covers transportation and the economy; Chapter 11 describes greenhouse gas emissons; and Chapter 12 describes criteria pollutant emissions. Appendix A covers sources and methodologies and Appendix B covers conversions. |
