Abstract

This 111-page report is the result of the National Research Council Workshop on Energy and Transportation. The workshop featured 12 keynote speakers who addressed the wide spectrum of challenges facing the chemical sciences in energy and transportation. Summaries of the 12 presentations are presented in the main body of the report, including chapters on fuel cell development, materials technology for future vehicles, the hydrogen fuel infrastructure, and nano- and microscale technologies for energy storage.
