Abstract

In 2003, the California Energy Commission and California Air Resources Board adopted a two-pronged strategy to reduce petroleum demand: promoting improved vehicle efficiency, and increasing the use of alternative fuels. This report discusses the second segment of increasing alternative fuel use in transportation.
