The Tier 2 Vehicle and Gasoline Sulfur Program requires new passenger vehicles, including sport utility vehicles, pick-up trucks, and vans, to meet stringent emissions standards. New emission standards apply to all light vehicles, regardless of whether they run on gasoline, diesel, or alternative fuels.
