Bus and Bus-Related Grants help finance capital projects that benefit the country's transit systems. Funding is provided for the acquisition of buses for fleet and service expansion, bus maintenance and administrative facilities, transfer facilities, bus malls, transportation centers, bus rebuilds, bus preventive maintenance, garage equipment, and more. Eligible recipients include public transportation bodies and agencies as well as certain public corporations, boards, and commissions established under state law.
