Electric Vehicle (EV) and Infrastructure Grants
The Hawaii Transportation Energy Transformation Grant Fund has been established within the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism (Department) to provide grants for the acquisition of EVs, the installation of EV charging infrastructure, and the development of innovative programs or the coordination of activities that diversify transportation energy sources. The Department will review all applications and is required to provide annual statistical information regarding program participation to the Governor and state legislature.
