Natural Gas Vehicle Technology Forum

The Natural Gas Vehicle Technology Forum (NGVTF) supports development and deployment of commercially competitive natural gas engines, vehicles, and infrastructure. Led by the U.S. Department of Energy and the California Energy Commission, the NGVTF brings together a diverse group of stakeholders to share information and leverage resources. Specific goals include the following:
- Identify natural gas engine, vehicle, and infrastructure technology targets and facilitate government-industry research, development, demonstration, and deployment programs to achieve the targets
- Communicate the high-priority needs of natural gas vehicle end users to natural gas equipment and vehicle manufacturers who can fulfill these needs
- Enable fleets and other large purchasers to aggregate demand for specific natural gas vehicles and equipment
