Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities Coalition

The Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities coalition works with vehicle fleets, fuel providers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to reduce petroleum use in transportation.

Pamela Burns has been a co-coordinator of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Clean Cities coalition since 2007. She is also a communications coordinator with the North Central Texas Council of Governments, the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) area. The MPO serves the region by developing transportation plans and programs that address the transportation needs of the rapidly growing metropolitan area. Burns works for the Transportation and Air Quality Marketing Team and is active in several clean vehicle programs, including SmartWay, Locally Enforced Idling Restrictions, and Recovery Act clean vehicle projects. Additionally, Burns works on several branding and communication efforts for other air quality and transportation projects for the North Central Texas Council of Governments, including the successful bid for the 2011 Super Bowl.

Burns is pursuing a master's degree in public affairs at the University of Texas at Dallas.
