Joey Roberson-Kitzman began serving as coordinator for North Dakota Clean Cities in 2011. Hosted by the American Lung Association in North Dakota (ALAND), Joey's responsibilities include educating motorists and fleets about the air quality and health benefits of using cleaner alternatives to gasoline and diesel fuels. Partnerships developed through North Dakota Clean Cities and the Lung Association's North Dakota Clean Air Choice Team have led to statewide efforts to develop renewable fuel infrastructure, conduct education through major media and local grassroots efforts and advocate for policy encouraging alternative fuel development.
In addition to his work with North Dakota Clean Cities, Joey has extensive experience in community organizing and political science and earned his degree from Dickinson State University. He is currently working on his Master's Degree at the University of North Dakota.
