Michelle Merchant

Michelle Merchant began working with Tulsa Clean Cities in late June 2021 after graduating cum laude from the University of Tulsa with a double-major in Environmental Policy and Economics, where she was selected as the 2021 Outstanding Senior in Environmental Policy. Michelle has also studied Sustainable Development at the School for Field Studies in Costa Rica, where she developed a special interest in Environmental and Energy Justice issues. Michelle has worked and volunteered with many Tulsa-area nonprofits; most notably, she has held an internship with the Oklahoma Sustainability Network as a grant writer and supported Operations and Development at the Oklahoma Policy Institute.
