Legislative Session Information

The Indiana Legislature meets annually, for a 30-day session from early January to mid-March in even numbered years and for a 61-day session from early January to April 30 in odd numbered years. The governor must sign or veto legislation within seven days of transmittal or it becomes law without signature.
