Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Emissions Inspection Exemption

Vehicles that are powered exclusively by electricity, including low-speed vehicles; hydrogen; or fuels other than gasoline that are exempt from motor vehicle emissions inspection under federal regulation are exempt from state emissions inspection requirements.
