Legislative Session Information

The Florida Legislature meets annually from early March to early May. The governor must sign or veto legislation within seven days of transmittal, or it becomes law without signature. If the Legislature adjourns during that period, the governor must sign or veto legislation within 15 days, or it becomes law without signature.
