Ethanol Emissions

Like conventional vehicles, cars and trucks fueled with E85 (85% ethanol, 15% petroleum) and E10 (10% ethanol, 90% petroleum) emit regulated pollutants and toxic chemicals through fuel evaporation and by combustion. However, the emissions resulting from these fuels are generally fewer than those of gasoline.
