Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Financing Program Authorization

The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) administers the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program. Under C-PACE, a county, municipality, or improvement district may issue bonds, notes, or other types of financing methods to support energy efficiency or storm resilience improvements to commercial properties, including the installation of EV charging stations.
